Activity
A 6-mile stroll on flat ground, all paved over. We will follow the old Roman wall through the city to the Tower of London looking for visible signs of the ancient wall, and the locations of the 7 gates. We then cross over Tower Bridge and walk through Southwark to discover the Gillie and Marc Sculpture Trail, "A Wild Life for Wildlife in London".
Refreshments
Usual vendors throughout. Cafe and pub stop on route and at end. Option to bring a packed lunch.
Travel
Blackfriars is on District and Circle lines, and Thameslink. London Bridge is Northern line, and Thameslink. Car parking on street nearby.
