Walk free to members, £10 supplement for attendees from Meetup; gig £13 in advance (contact organiser who will reserve tickets) or £15 on day (if any tickets remaining)
Activity
A 4-mile moderate pace rat walk through Ruislip Woods and Lido, followed by evening meal and then live music at the Tropic Club. We start at 5:30pm and then walk into Ruislip Woods. Then onto the Lido and the beach. Walk ends around 7:00pm at JJ Moons by Ruislip Manor Station where we can have food and drinks after the walk. At around 9:00pm we walk to Tropic Club to hear the very proficient tribute band 'Straighten Out' play much of 'Rattus Norvegicus' and other music of early period Stranglers. This band are rigged up with a Hammond organ and Minimoog synth to recreate the original sound.
