Activity
A 9-mile walk taking in the Grand Union Canal and parklands in Ealing, Harrow and Wembley. From Sudbury Town Station (designed by Charles Holden with many Art Deco features) we make our way over to Barham Park to visit the flower garden and Barnham House. The park was donated to the people of Wembley by Titus Barham who owned Express Dairies in the 1930s. We then climb to One Tree Top Park to enjoy a view of Wembley Stadium and the Arch. We then join the Grand Union Canal and procced west until we reach the Horsenden Hill Visitor Centre and Brewery. Cafe here with picnic benches. We rejoin the canal and then join the Capital Ring Walk to Harrow on the Hill heritage area. We can explore the historical buildings and the church on the summit. Last leg is via the playing fields back to Sudbury Town. Pub stop at the end of the walk. Terrain mostly flat with some small hills.
