Activity
A linear 6-mile walk from Westminster to Tower Hill. This walk leads you over 8 of the many bridges crossing the Thames, including famous bridges such as London Bridge, Tower Bridge and Westminster Bridge. It follows parts of the Thames Path and includes sections of the river front on both sides. We will pass numerous iconic landmarks such as Big Ben, former County Hall now a hotel chain, Victoria Embankment Gardens, Cleopatra's Needle, National Theatre, Shakespeare's Globe, HMS Belfast and Tower of London. Note that there will be many concrete steps up and down each bridge on route.
Refreshments
Lots of choices on route. Wetherspoon pub at end of the walk.
Travel
Westminster Station is on Circle, Jubilee and District lines. Tower Hill Station is on Circle and District lines.
