Activity
A 10-mile circular (well, slender figure of eight!) walk from Chorleywood to Chipperfield and back, crossing the Chess valley in the process. First walk for leader. We'll explore Chorleywood Common, Chorleywood House Estate, the River Chess, Church End Sarratt and Chipperfield (and as many other places beginning with 'Ch' as possible). There'll be numerous points of interest on the way (e.g. WW2 air raid shelters, a filming location for 'Four Weddings and a Funeral', and many wood carvings). Aim to stop at the Black Horse on the common at end.

Pubs on route. Option to bring packed lunch.
Travel
Metropolitan line to Chorleywood. Free parking near start.
