Activity
10-mile walk through Chiltern Hills from scenic village of Hambleden. Walk starts through meadows then ascending to a mixture of mature woodlands and low gradient hills with fine vistas of the local countryside. Halfway in, we stop at Stonor Deer Park for a packed lunch looking over the estate. We continue through the estate and emerge to a series of meadows and magnificent beech forests. We descend to our starting point with excellent views of Hambleden village. Route is hilly in places. Potential toilet facilities at Stonor House cafe.
Refreshments
Packed lunch essential. The Stag and Huntsman pub is at Hambleden for additional refreshment at journey's end.
Travel
Car only to Hambleden village. Free car park.
