Activity
This 7-mile walk around Denham countryside will finish with the Denham Church Festival, the annual celebration of St Marys Church which has been the centre of the village for 900 years. The walk will pass Denham Studios (location for many of David Lean's and Michael Powel's earlier classics). Then through Colne Valley, Grand Union Canal, Aerodrome and through farmlands and south portal of the Chiltern HS2 tunnel. Walk returns to the village for the festival. Barbecue stall, then we can tour the church and tower, with the famous church teas and home-made cakes on the church lawn to end.

Travel
Chiltern line train from London stops at West Ruislip (10:20am) and other local stations. Free parking short walk from start.
