Yuletide WalkDate: Sat Dec 27th Organiser: Mike Mc and Li Sha Mc Cost: Free (quarterly surcharge payable by casuals) Activity: A chance to walk off the excesses of the Christmas period with an 8-mile walk through the crisp morning frost. The plan is to meet at Wendover Dean and take in some of the Ridgeway and Coombe Hill. We will walk 6 miles before lunch and a couple after Refreshments: Leisurely pub lunch (unless you really want to bring turkey sandwiches). Numerous pubs on route Travel: By car Start: 10:00am at car park on Coblershill Lane near Wendover Dean (2-3 miles north of Great Missingdon) Finish: Around 4:00pm Links: |
