Prospective MembersIf you have never been a member of HAWOG before and you want to try us and find out more then you are a prospective member. As a prospective member you get 2 months free to attend and experience group events without any obligation. You can meet us most Thursday evenings in central Harrow or most weekends doing something outdoor and active, often in the countryside surrounding north west London or maybe more distant on a weekend away. Most Thursday evenings we meet in central Harrow in a modern church hall from 8:30pm until 10pm where you can get information about our group, our events and meet members. Our venue is Our Lady & St Thomas Of Canterbury R C Church Hall, 22 Roxborough Park, Harrow, HA1 3BE (here's a map). The hall is 5 minutes walk from Harrow on the Hill station and Harrow town centre. There is plenty of parking at the church or on the immediate residential roads. We don't have the hall every Thursday evening and so you might want to check in advance. The hall is unavailable to us on the second Thursday of each month and a few other Thursdays each year like Lent in spring for example. When we don't have use of the hall we can usually be found in the Castle Pub, West Street, Harrow on the Hill, HA1 3EF (here's a map) from 9pm onwards. If you need a lift to or from Harrow for our Thursday evening meet, or have any other questions, then please call 07906 512110 or and we will get back to you. Many members live beyond central Harrow or the main tube, train or bus services, so car sharing is possible. If getting home after dark is a concern then let us know. If you're not able to attend a Thursday evening or one of our weekend outdoor events soon then make sure you join our email group to keep informed about our future events. Our email group is free; members send details of ideas they have for future events and maybe reports of recent past events. You can leave our email group at any time and review and revise the settings to receive emails how you want. If after trying our group you wish to join - many do and we hope you do too - then you will only pay membership for the remaining months of the group year. We offer reduced prices for young people (under 30 years old) and those on low incomes. An admin form can be downloaded from here. Everyone attending our events is subject to our rules.
