Prospective MembersIf you have never been a member of HAWOG before and you want to try us and find out more then you are a prospective member. As a prospective member you get 2 months or 3 events (whichever is the shorter) free to attend and experience group events without any obligation. So just come along to any of our day or evening outdoor or social events that appeal - you will need to provide contact details to the event organiser (full name and telephone number or email address) on the first event you attend. If you would prefer to provide your details to the committee please email them to our . You will be sent a confirmation email which you can show the event organiser and, on the day, you will only have to provide your name. You can also meet us (usually - check programme though) on the third Thursday of each month at our monthly Hall Evening in central Harrow. Again just come along, we meet from 8:30pm until 10pm and there will usually be an activity (see our programme), members and information. Our venue is Our Lady & St Thomas Of Canterbury R C Church Hall, 22 Roxborough Park, Harrow, HA1 3BE (map). The hall is 5 minutes walk from Harrow on the Hill station and Harrow town centre. There is plenty of parking at the church or on the immediate residential roads. If you do want to speak to someone prior to attending, then please email us at and we'll usually get back to you within a day or two. If you're not able to attend one of our weekend outdoor events soon or our monthly Hall Evening then make sure you subscribe to our main email group to keep informed about our future events. Subscribing is free; members send details of ideas they have for future events and maybe reports of recent past events. You can leave our email group at any time and review and revise the settings to receive emails how you want. If after trying our group you wish to join - many do and we hope you do too - then you will only pay membership for the remaining months of the group year. If money is an issue then let us know (in person, by phone or email as above) and ask to speak to the Chair or Treasurer (we won't want to know your income etc.) and we'll probably be able to agree a reduced price for your membership.
