North Downs Mountain BikingDate: Sat Mar 10th Organiser: Brian G and Dean Cost: Free (quarterly surcharge payable by casuals). Joint ride with Twickenham Cyclists. Activity: 20 mile trail from Epsom Downs to the North Downs and back. Will feature the Derby race course, Stane Street (Roman road now bridle way), North Downs viewpoints. Moderate course ideal for beginners at mountain biking. Refreshments: Lunch stop at CTC cycle cafe at Headley Heath, pub at the end. Travel: Train from Harrow and Wealdstone at 9:17, change at Willesden Junction for connection to Epsom High Street station, arrives at Epsom at 10:37.
