Jubilee and Windsor WalkDate: Sun Oct 30th Organiser: Tim Cost: Free (quarterly surcharge payable by casuals) Activity: 15 mile walk from Taplow to Windsor and back. Route follows two rivers, the Jubilee and Thames. Terrain flat. Refreshments: Bring snacks and water etc. Loads of places to get lunch in Windsor. There will be a short stop on route along both rivers mid morning and afternoon. Travel: Probably by car as can't find times of trains to Taplow station! Not sure if they stop there on the Sunday. Car park at the station (£2.60) or arrive a little early and park along road neaby. Start: 10:00am prompt outside entrance to Taplow station, Station Road, Taplow, Maidenhead, SL6 0NU Finish: Around 4:00-5:00pm at start point Links: |
