Ibstone WalkDate: Sun Jun 26th Organisers: Amy and Mary Cost: Free (quarterly surcharge payable by casuals) Activity: 12 mile circular walk from Ibstone following the Chiltern Way and Oxfordshire Way to Pishill. From Pishill we pick up the Chiltern Way through Stonor, Southend and Turville. From Turville its mainly a woodland walk back to Ibstone Common. There are at least four steep climbs so Mary would rate this walk as challenging. Refreshments: Lunch stop at the Crown Pub in Pishill (Mary has eaten here and would recommend it. We will need to book though). It's got a large seating area outside. Aim will be to stop for an hour minimum. Bring packed lunch if you prefer. Travel: Public transport not an option. Leave the M40 at J5 and turn left on to the Ibstone Road. Parking is opposite the Fox Country Inn Restaurant. Please contact the organiser re lifts from Harrow or email forum.
