Hertfordshire en hiver
Date: Sun Feb 19th
Organisers: Claire and Jim
Cost: Free (quarterly surcharge payable by casuals)
Activity: A 12 mile circular walk from Shenley. Walk mostly across country, a little bit of lane walking. Be prepared for the English weather, and always have a torch and a reflective vest if you have one.
Refreshments: Always a good idea to bring lunch even though there are two pubs half way around we have learned not to solely rely on the fact that they have not closed for holidays, or stopped serving food since the survey of the walk. In any event there will be about 40 minutes max for lunch because of the daylight limitations of a winter walk.
Travel: About 30-40 minutes by car from Harrow. Park in local streets. Public transport not an option.
Start: 10:00am prompt outside White Horse pub, 37 London Road, Shenley, Radlett, WD7 9ER
Finish: Around 5:00pm at start point
