Chiltern Cycle RideDate: Sun Mar 15th Organiser: Jeff Where: Ruislip, Rickmansworth, Watford Cost: Free (quarterly surcharge payable by casuals) Activity: Cycle ride, 20 miles or less. From Ruislip to join Grand Union canal at Harefield, along canal to Watford, back via Moor Park house. The route will be mainly along canal banks, with some connections on the road and a little off-road. The pace will be gentle - all cyclists welcome - and there is an option to shorten the route, depending on how we are doing Refreshments: Pub stop for lunch expected, but advised to bring some food, in case the pub is unexpectedly closed, opposed to cyclists, etc. Start: 10:30am prompt at Ruislip station Finish: Around 4:00 pm Equipment Required: Appropriate clothing and cycle gear.
