River Cherwell and Oxford WalkDate: Sun Aug 14th Organiser: Roger Cost: Free (quarterly surcharge payable by casuals) Activity: A walk of about 5 miles duration along the banks of the river Cherwell. Followed by a couple of hours sightseeing among the dreaming spires of Oxford in the afternoon. Refreshments: You may wish to bring your own refreshments. There will be an opportunity to buy food and drink at around 2pm in Oxford. Travel: You can travel to Oxford by coach from Hillingdon (turn right out of the station, stop on the A40). Journey time about 1 hour on Oxford Tube Coach. Cost approx £15 return. Car shares may also be available.
