Autumn Stroll in HertfordshireDate: Sat Oct 22nd Organiser: Marin Cost: Free (quarterly surcharge payable by casuals) Activity: A 15.5 mile (25km for immigrants) circular walk north of Little Berkhamsted. Mostly flat - no steep hills. Speed - no more than 3mph. It will be great. Refreshments: Please bring packed lunch and water - there are no shops or pubs on the way, apart from the one at the finish Travel: By road: A1(M) - exit at junction 2. At the roundabout, take 2nd exit onto S Way/A1001 heading to Welham Green/A1001. At Travellers Lane, take 3rd exit and stay on S Way/A1001. Continue to follow A1001 - at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Great North Road/A1000, slight left onto Westfield, continue onto Grubbs Lane, turn left onto Kentish Lane/B158, continue to follow B158, turn right onto Cucumber Lane, turn left onto Little Berkhamsted Lane, take 1st right onto Church Road. Cars can be parked free of charge on Church Road.
