Autumn Colours on the ThamesDate: Sun Nov 6th Organiser: Brian G Cost: £4 entry (quarterly surcharge payable by casuals) Activity: 8 mile walk around the Cliveden estate. We will take in the glorious autumn colours of the extensive arboretum. Paths also follow the Thames and allow excellent views over the Thames valley. We will also visit the new maze, opened this Spring. It has been recreated from the original designs after being "lost" for 50 years. Refreshments: Tea shop in the park Travel: Car share via forum. From M40 junction 4, take A404 south towards Marlow. Follow brown National Trust signs to Cliveden. Do not use main entrance, continue south along Cliveden road to the Woodlands entrance, approx 2 miles south of main entrance. Free parking.
