Starting from the heritage area of Godalming via Compton with stops at the Byzantine-designed Watts Chapel and Watts Gallery. This has just reopened after a major restoration as featured under the Gryff Rhys Jones BBC programme. We will also visit Loseley House on the return leg. Refreshments: Picnic at Watts Chapel Hill, ice cream at Loseley House. Travel: Train leaves Waterloo at 10:15 to arrive at Godalming at 11:00. Can also catch this train at Clapham Junction at 10:22. Train from Harrow Weald at 9:22 for the connection at Clapham. Group saver tickets for 3 or more people. Get return to Godalming. Car share via forum.
