Harrow and Wembley Outdoor Group - Annual General Meeting

All paid FULL members are welcome to attend, offer and vote on proposals. Ideally proposals should be emailed to group members in advance for consideration and comment. Members with comments should respond to the proposer promptly. Any member with ANY KEY COMMENTS, ISSUES OR CONCERNS about the group or any proposals is requested to ensure the Chair is made aware in advance of the AGM.

Committee:

The following posts are up for election:

Treasurer - payment of hall bookings, banking cheques, preparing annual accounts
Social Secretary - organising social events programme - Thursdays, shows, clubbing, pubbing etc.
Executive Officer - organising membership database and collecting membership money
Chairman - chairing 6 meetings a year, making announcements on Thursday nights
Secretary - taking minutes at 6 meetings a year, ensuring agreed actions are taken
Outdoor Secretary - organising outdoor events programme - walking, cycling, climbing, watersports, weekends away
Information Officer - managing website, updating programme, managing email groups
Publicity Officer - posters in libraries, emails to the press, leaflet design and distribution

Nominations can be emailed to the Chair, or you can sign up to the form that will be posted in the hall in the coming weeks. We meet just 6 times a year on Monday evenings. Each meeting takes 2 hours and committee members take their turn to host it. We communicate about once a week via email.
