The blurb says "Above the River Bradford and Lathkill Dale, Youlgreave was once the old Co-op village store and it still retains some of the original characteristics - look for the stone beehive (symbol of the Co-op) and the windows inscribed with the shop's services. Rooms are named after the store departments and there are interesting displays to give you a flavour of the period. Many adventures await outside in the White Peak, where walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers will be in their element." Steve has stayed here twice before. The bedrooms are modern and the lounge/diner area contains many items that would have been on sale during the early 20th century when the hostel was a traditional Coop. Village location, with views of hills and river from the hostel, in the gorgeous Peak District. 42 beds available in the following rooms: 1 room with 2 beds, 5 rooms with 4 beds, 2 rooms with 6 beds, 1 room with 8 beds. Address: Fountain Square, Youlgreave, nr Bakewell, Derbyshire, DE45 1UR
